JD: Extensive knowledge on SQL 2005 and 2000
• Positive attitude within the team and should have healthy arguing capability with commitments.
• Software development projects will include interaction and development on both new and legacy applications.
• Working with the Quality Assurance team to ensure proper testing and deployment
• Understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively be able to manage a sub-team through complexities
• Ability to understand high level requirements, be able to break them down in to individual assignments and delegate them
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and be able to cope with huge volumes of work simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills a must
• TSQL and stored procedure coding
• Views, Triggers, Functions – SQL Developer must be capable of creating views and writing triggers. SQL Developer must be determining when to use triggers.
• Candidate Should have min 2 years of experience in writing COMPLEX queries
• Should have some basic understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Should have hands-on experience in .NET based projects and Web Applications
Expert in T-SQL, and basic SQL Server DBA skills.
• Strong understanding of major components of SQL server 2000 / 2005.
• Experience in writing complex stored procedure and data base design.
• DBMS performance monitoring & tuning.
• Candidate should understand intricacies of performance tuning, maintaining high availability and reliability
