Job Description:
-Maintains and troubleshoots hardware, Application software, Lotus Notes issues for laptop, desktop computers and Personal Digital Assistants (PDA’s).
-Arrange for repair and/or replacement of defective IT assets (desktop and laptop computers, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), printers, digital scanners, and other network equipment)
-Assists in all general IT support functions, help desk, software support and network support
-Assists end users with their computing needs by resolving trouble tickets and fulfilling employee requests for application and system support
-Coordinates installation of replacement equipment or pick-up of spare equipment when necessary
-Installs/uninstalls various software and upgrades equipment if and when necessary
-Maintains inventory of PC equipment with Asset Executive
-Assists in the documentation of network, software, disaster recovery and systems configurations
Skills:
-Hands on experience on trouble shooting Desktop, Laptop, Application software’s
-Good knowledge on Installation and configuration of OS, Application software.
-Experience/ Sound Knowledge on Lotus Notes client
-Good written and verbal skills are critical along with the ability to interact with other employees in a professional and tactful manner.
-Proficient in using the PC’s, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
-Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and demonstrate the ability to be flexible with the hours of work.
-Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
-Ability to resolve conflict appropriately and effectively resolve problems
-Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
-Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
-Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of Associates and management, as well as with the public and outside vendors
