Qualification:
ESSENTIAL: A Doctorate degree in Zoology/ Botany / Entomology/ Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Chemistry/ Sericulture from a recognised University with a minimum of 10 years Research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Scientist-B (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400/-) or equivalent
DESIRABLE: Specialization or research experience in the Field of Molecular Biology / Bio-Technology / Entomology / Insect Breeding.
Job Description: Conceive, formulate, implement, monitor, review and evaluate research and development projects; patenting and commercialization of technologies; coordination of collaborative research and development projects, etc.

ESSENTIAL: A Doctorate degree in Textiles Technology/ Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering from a recognised University with a minimum of 10 years Research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Scientist-B (Reeling & Spinning) (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400/-) or equivalent

Desirable: Computer knowledge will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with experience.
Job Description: Acquisition, classification and cataloguing of Library Books, Regular renewal of subscription of standard journals, Issuing and receiving books, Maintenance of files pertaining to Library, Inter Library exchange.

Education Board with a speed of 40 words per minute in English Typewriting and 80 words per minute in English Shorthand.
