Developer – Integrator/Build Engineer
Exp: 2-4yrs
Job Description:
Administration and maintenance of Source Control System for project specific software
Administration, creation and maintenance of build environment, build scripts/Makefiles
Integration of different software modules, building and packaging [RPM based]
Creating build plans
Creating product software builds for development, test and production environments
Performing build verification tests
Build Automation and report generation
Integrate source code analyzer and profiling tools with build system
Create comprehensive documentation on the Build Architecture, Build process, Software integration strategy and User manual
Candidate profile :
Working experience in ClearCase is a must [Subversion/CVS is added advantage]
Experience and thorough understanding of branching, merging and labeling techniques
Experience in two of the following scripting is a must
- Python
- Perl
- Bash
Experience in preparation and maintenance of Linux based software distributions using cross-development tools
Experience in GNU build system [Autoconf, Automake, Libtool, make, Makefiles] and RPM package development [Source and Binary]
Build verification Testing/Sanity testing
Closely work with Project management, Software development, QA and Operations teams to refine processes and resolve issues in building, releasing, testing and deployment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
